Around Detroit, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across Michigan are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

I absolutely loved this place! I went here to have all four of my wisdom teeth removed, and I was really nervous at first because of some of the reviews I had read. After my experience, I can honestly say they didn’t reflect the care I received. The doctors were amazing, the nurses were kind and reassuring, and the ladies at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. They made the whole process so much easier than I expected. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone needing their wisdom teeth removed!

This was the only place that accepted my health insurance to get 2 wisdom teeth removed that I’ve been needing taken out for quite some time. I’m offically on Day 2 of recovery and everything seems to be okay so far. Was definitely worth the 3 hour drive south from home to go there, the dental assistant and the surgeon were both really nice and explained to me what was going to happen and also told me to lift my left arm if I felt any pain. I never felt no pain, until after the novocaine wore off, then I could definitely feel pain in my jaw and cheek area but only a dull pain every now and then in the actual tooth extraction areas. I will definitely go back here if the other 2 wisdom teeth start to give me problems also. Thank you to the amazing dental assistant and surgeon for being gentle on me, I definitely don’t like pain and they made it comfortable for me by having music playing and talking me through what they were about to do. So thank you St John Oral Surgery :)

I went here a few days ago to get 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed. They did great! The doctors were so kind, as well as the ladies at the front desk. I didn’t understand why the office didn’t have great reviews until I saw a woman in the lobby begin clipping her nails. The people in Detroit sometimes have no manners. The reviews are a fault of rude patients.

They have new location at St. John hospital. The reviews were so bad I wasn't going to see them but there all lies. Came in on slip and fall, they saw immediately, order cat STAT all within 7 days. the doctors were super nice. All the doctors have high knowledge and understanding and the staff were on there job and paper work. I had a referral from the ER, thanks for all your hard work so far in helping me. I am so please, keep up the good work. I also have appointment today. How fast is this service?
